Tyland Hunter
Tyland Hunter, co-founder of CYDEO Federal, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role, shaped by a distinguished military career and a profound commitment to education and service. Growing up in Houston, Texas, Tyland enlisted in the Navy in 2004, serving as a Gunner’s Mate before transitioning to the U.S. Army as an Armor Tanker. His military service includes deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar, where he developed strong leadership skills and a deep sense of duty.
After nearly a decade in the military, Tyland pursued higher education, earning a degree from Houston Baptist University and later attending law school at Ave Maria in Naples, Florida. His academic journey was marked by a passion for learning and an unwavering dedication to human rights and legal accountability.
Tyland’s diverse experiences have fueled his mission to support veterans and underprivileged communities. He founded the nonprofit organization “Take the HILL” (Humility, Intellect, Legacy, and Love) to provide educational resources and support in post-war environments. Since its inception in 2023, the nonprofit has made significant contributions to Ghana, Ethiopia, and India.
